Privacy Policy

Feedit is a personal finance tracking app that helps users record credit cards, bank accounts, cash balances, transactions, EMI details, income, expenses, backups, and exports.

Information We Collect

The app may collect or store the following information:

• Account login information, such as email address, through Supabase Authentication.
• If the user chooses Google sign-in, Google may provide basic profile details such as name and email address for login.
• Profile information entered by the user, such as first name, last name, email address, and mobile number.
• Personal finance records entered by the user, including card details, bank account names, cash records, income, expenses, transfers, EMI details, fixed expenses, and transaction history.
• App preference information, such as currency, font size, dark mode, and app lock settings.
• Feedback entered by the user inside the app.

How Information Is Used

• Create and manage the user's app account.
• Show the user's own financial records inside the app.
• Help users export records or create backup files.
• Save profile and app preference details.
• Improve the app experience based on feedback.

Storage and Security

Most financial tracking records are stored locally on the user's device under the signed-in user's app storage. Profile information may be stored in Supabase so the user's profile can be linked to their login account.

The app uses Supabase Authentication for email login and optional Google sign-in. Users should keep their login credentials safe. If the user enables app lock, the lock helps protect app access on the device.

Sharing and Export

The app allows users to export records and create backup files. Exported spreadsheet files and backup JSON files are created only when the user chooses to export or back up data. Users are responsible for where they save or share these files.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase for email authentication, optional Google sign-in, and profile storage.
• Google for optional Google account sign-in. The app requests only basic sign-in information and does not request Gmail, Drive, contacts, or payment access.
• Expo/React Native platform features for app operation, file sharing, document picking, and local storage.

Data Deletion

Users can delete local records inside the app where delete options are provided. Users may also sign out of the app.

For account/profile deletion requests, users can go to Settings > Privacy > Request account deletion inside the app. Users can also request deletion through the public account deletion page linked from the Play Store listing.
